On the third week, we were introduced to new tools through Bird arms exercise. In this exercise, we were required to combine a picture of bird and human arms then we should make it look realistic by using Photoshop.

Image 1.1 A picture of 2 ducklings
Image 1.2 Adding arms and concealing the unnecessary white background by using masking.

Image 1.3 Duplicating the first arm and reflecting it, then I matched the color by changing the blending mode to Hard Light.

Image 1.4 If the arms still look uneven, we still can refine it by adjusting it in "Select and Mask..."
Image 1.5 We can adjust the smooth, feather, contrast and shift edge

Image 1.6 Adding the second duckling's arm by using the same method; Masking.
Since the second arm was too short, I used "Liquify" to make the arm looks became longer and adjusting the color by using "Match Color".

Image 1.7 Adding final touch up with shadow and highlight.
Image 1.8 Final result
